Where to find us
I HAVE DRINKING EXPERIENCE, BUT NO BREWING EXPERIENCE… IS THIS MASTERCLASS RIGHT FOR ME?
Yes, of course! Our classes are designed in a way that absolutely no previous experience is required. You are carefully guided through each step by one of our master brewers, and each process is explained in detail. We also have a handy booklet which contains all the processes in a handy step by step guide which is yours to keep!
I’VE BEEN BREWING FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW, I SUPPOSE THIS CLASS IS JUST FOR BEGINNERS?
Not at all. The beauty of home brewing is that it is part science, part art, and with that in mind there are many different methods that can be learned and taught. As home brewers we are all forever trying to extend our knowledge base! Our professional brew masters teach a tried and tested all-grain method which can yield great efficiency and spectacular (and previously award winning) beers.
WHAT STYLE OF BEER DO WE BREW ON THE DAY?
This can vary from class to class depending on popularity, so our brewmasters are trained in a variety of styles. In the past we have brewed IPAS, DIPAS, Hefeweizens, Pale Ales, Porters, Stouts, Red Ales, Wheat Beers, Pilsners, Helles Lagers, Maibocks, Dunkels and many, many others. Depending on how many people we have in our class, we will usually brew several styles side by side and separate the class into groups. It is then up to you what you would prefer to brew!
SOUNDS GREAT! AND I GET TO KEEP THE BEER I’VE BREWED, RIGHT?
That is correct! Each class member is given a packet of yeast and an easy to carry portable fermenter with their own airlock system, as well as a detailed aftercare handbook so you can successfully ferment and eventually bottle your beer at home. We then divide each groups’ beer between the class members. Easy as that
ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR LUNCH?
Of course! There are meat, vegan and vegetarian options, snacks and water available throughout the course.
I’D LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE BEER TASTINGS? THEY SOUND FUN!
They are lots of fun! At different points throughout the brew day we will gather around the tasting table and evaluate a selection of craft beers. We will delve into aroma, appearance, ingredients, balance and of course, taste! It’s the most delicious way to learn how your favorite beers are made and why they taste so good..
ONCE THE CLASS IS OVER, IS THAT IT?
You can email us at any time with any beer related questions you have! Please bear with us when it comes to responding - but we will always get back to you! If you need help getting the right brewing equipment - either as a beginner or taking it to the next level -we're the team for you.
I HAVE A QUESTION I BELIEVE TO NOT BE FREQUENTLY ASKED. WHO DO I CONTACT?
